MIB: joining the experience!

MIB School of Management was founded in 1988 as the result of a collaboration between the economic-entrepreneurial system and academia.

In less than 20 years, by increasing and varying educational offerings and cultivating important relationships, MIB School of Management has become a major player in education and managerial research at the international level.

MIB School of Management has become a point of reference in Italy and is solidifying its importance on the European level. These were the guidelines that guaranteed the school’s rapid and consistant growth:

  • Quality of Programmes (one of the highest number of accredited programs in Italy) 
  • Individual Guidance for each participant (during and after the Master)

1988 MIB School of Management is founded
1990 MBA in International Business is introduced
1993 MIB Co-founds CEEMAN Central Eastern Europe Management Development Association
1994

MIB joins ASFOR, receives accreditation for its MBA in International Business
1999 Inauguration of Ferdinandeo Palace Location
2000

Master in Insurance & Risk Management – MIRM is introduced
2000 Origini course is introduced, collaboration with ICE is established
2000

MIB for Companies and MIB Public Administration are introduced
2001 First international agreements with partners in Slovenia, Spain, France
2002 Part-time Executive MBA is launched at the school in Trieste
2002 International Master in Tourism & Leisure – IMTL is introduced
2003 MBA in Wine Business is introduced
2003 MIRM receives ASFOR Accreditation
2003 MBA in International Business becomes the first master at MIB to be taught entirely in English
2003 International agreements with partners in the US, UK, and Russia
2004 Progressive passage to English for all full-time Masters programs
2005 International agreements with partners in Turkey and China
2005 International agreements with partners in Turkey and China
2005 MIB Alumni Association is founded
2005 Founding of Study and Research Centre: “Insurance & Risk Management”
2006 Executive MBA in Rome is introduced
2006 All MIB full-time and part-time MBA programmes receive AMBA accreditation
2006 MIRM receives EPAS accreditation
2006 Executive MBA receives ASFOR accreditation
2007 First Edition of Business in China programme, in cooperation with Lingnan College of Guangzhou  
2007 MIB consolidates its international position: entrepreneurs form China and Russia come to MIB to learn about doing business in Italy
2007 International agreement with Universitat de Barcelona
2007 IMTL receives United Nations WTO TedQual Accreditation
2008 Twenty Years of MIB School of Management 
2008 Dean of MIB School of Management meets Napolitano, President of Italian Republic
2009 International agreement with University of Baltimore
