Participants can also choose an internship experience to enrich their professional curriculum. The Internship is a particularly significant moment for participants who have the opportunity of verifying first-hand the knowledge they have acquired, working for a certain period at a company of the IMTL network. The objective of an internship is to learn more about a specific management area or function. The internship is also aimed at sharpening a mature approach to the work-place and developing business codes of conduct. During this period every participant is supported by a business tutor and School mentor.
Many International Master in Tourism & Leisure graduates were later hired by the companies where they completed their internships.
"If you take an internship in JTB GMT, you have no possibility to get tired! This experience has been very interesting for me, because JTB Holding is a global company now on the way to internationalization. As I was the only foreigner working in GMT, I got involved in several activities in order to provide them an international point of view on foreign source markets and new products, such as 'Hands on Japan', the new tours that allow tourist actively experiencing Japanese culture. I could participate to monitour tours and give my opinions about strenghts and weaknesses of the new products.
