Professional Experience:

Elena Bonel teaches strategy and marketing in the MIRM, IMTL, MBA and Executive MBA programs at MIB School of Management.
She holds a tenured position in Economics and Business Management at the University of Trento (Italy), and she is also engaged in teaching and research at the University Ca’ Foscari of Venice and University of Padua.

Her current research interests lie in the cognitive underpinnings of strategic decision making at managerial level, and in the concepts of coopetition and complementarities as they arise and create complexity in managing the strategy and operations of the firm. She applies decision-making principles to the area of marketing, particularly strategic marketing and sales and distribution marketing. She also operates as a consultant to some leading national and international firms, at The Boston Consulting Firm and as a free-lance.
