Social activities are considered an important part of every programme at the School and involve participants from different courses, instructors and alumni of past editions.

Taking part in a group outside the classroom, sharing experiences with international colleagues from other programmes, getting together on weekends-- all of these moments, where the competitive climate of the school makes way for friendship, are special moments in the Master year.

The variety of countries, languages, and culture of participants at the School make these experiences truly unique.

The School also organizes evenings dedicated to culture (theater, cinema, conferences) and fun, food, and music.

During weekends, there are many opportunities to visit interesting places in and around Trieste, which joins Italy, Austria, and Slovenia, places along the Adriatic coast, or i the Alps, Venice, or Lubljana, all of which are within managable distances from Trieste.

Sports play an important role at MIB and the School organizes football tournaments between the different programmes, chess tournaments, sailing trips, and ski trips in the nearby alps.
