During the weekends, there are opportunities to visit places of interest in and around Trieste. Near both Austria and Slovenia, the city is on the Adriatic coast, just a few kilometres from the Alps, and close to Venice and Ljubljana.
Sport has an important role at MIB and the school organizes soccer tournaments between different masters, chess matches, sailing outings, and ski initiatives in the nearby Alps.

Social activities are considered an integral part of every programme at our School and involve participants from other courses, instructors, and graduates from past editions.

Forming groups outside the classroom, sharing experiences with international colleagues, meeting during the weekend: the competitive climate of the classroom leaves space for complicity between friends.

The variety of countries, languages, and culture of course participants make these experiences unique!

The school organizes evenings dedicated to culture (theatre, cinema, conferences), but also for fun, food, and music.
