Part-Time MBA in International Business Interview
When  workload increased and exams were on the horizon and we had group and individual tasks to do, the personal development areas of the course really helped  to enable us all to communicate effectively wherever in the world we came from and whatever our cultural communication styles - something else that you learn about on the course.

One of the most distinctive features of the Part-Time MBA in International Business is Personal Skills Development
From our perspective it is not possible to achieve important career objectives by focusing only on knowledge, without considering the impact of one’s own communication on others.

Personal Development at MIB aims at helping participants to discover what is blocking them from achieving their full potential, aligning their behaviours with their objectives and at optimising the learning experience in every module as well as in contexts external to the training room.

Areas of Personal Development include:

• Listening as a manager’s key competence
• Assertiveness and leadership
• Team work and team building
• Negotiating and selling techniques
• Intercultural communication
• Managing meetings
• Managing written communication
• Managing stress and emotions
• Public speaking
• Creativity and search for new ideas
• Recruitment and job interviews

Specific emphasis is given to coaching sessions
While trainers support participants in learning, coaches support them in changing. In fact, coaching is a consultancy relationship that aims at helping both individuals and teams to reach their goals.

BUSINESS THEATRE

The Part-Time MBA in International Business uses theatre-based training methodology to allow participants an insight into their expressiveness and ability to interact with each other in different situations.
First integrated in Mib’s managerial development area in 1997, this methodology is a highly active, involving and person-centered experience.

By breaking the classic classroom scheme, it allows immediate experimentation and analysis of the skills involved in the work process.
Through the theatrical metaphor, the training module will address the issues of change management and innovation. Moreover, the work process allows participants to directly test their managerial competences such as team work and communication.
Thus, the theatrical metaphor guides participants through a double analysis on the content of the play and on the dynamics that lead to its staging.

In the theatre lab, participants will step into the role of scriptwriters, directors and actors to create, build and play a performance on the basis of a given canovaccio.
The whole theatrical training is based on improvisation techniques that facilitate actors express their creativity and trains them to rapidly face context stimulus and changes, engaging their individual and group skills in order to reach the final goal.
